Welcome to Bogat Architecture and Design! I’m Maria Bogat, a passionate architectural designer dedicated to creating innovative, sustainable, and human-centered designs that harmonize technology and nature.
My journey in architecture began with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where I built a strong foundation in architectural principles and design. I further honed my skills and vision by earning a Master’s degree from the Boston Architectural College. This seven-year educational journey was transformative, shaping my design ethos and deepening my passion for architecture and design.

At the heart of my work is a commitment to sustainability. I believe that architecture has the power to positively impact the environment and improve the quality of life for communities. My designs explore advanced architectural ideas that seamlessly integrate technology with the natural world, creating spaces that are not only functional but also inspiring and environmentally responsible.
One of my proudest achievements is Newburbia, a walkable town concept I developed during my thesis research. This project embodies my belief that the most livable communities are the most walkable ones. Newburbia is a vision for the future—a place where thoughtful urban planning fosters connection, accessibility, and a sense of belonging.
