OUR STORY

For Maria Bogatinovska, architecture is more than the assembly of materials; it is a dialogue between the built environment and the natural world. As the Founder and Principal of Bogat Architecture and Design LLC, Maria views every project as a living organism—a space that must breathe, adapt, and inspire those who inhabit it.
Her approach is defined by a unique synthesis of urban precision and organic fluidity, a perspective shaped by a rigorous dual-city academic foundation. Maria earned her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she absorbed the structural discipline of the Midwest’s architectural giants. She expanded this expertise with a Master of Architecture from Boston Architectural College, honing a deep understanding of design theory, history, and the complex relationship between space and society.
This distinct educational journey—bridging the grit of Chicago with the intellectual heritage of Boston—empowered Maria to break the mold. It fueled her desire to move beyond the rigid box and embrace the curve, the wave, and the sculptural form.
Based in Fort Lauderdale, Maria now leads her firm with a clear mission: to bring iconic, sustainable design to South Florida and beyond. Drawing inspiration from the fluidity of nature and the boldness of futurism, she creates spaces that feel cinematic yet intimate. Whether designing a luxury residence or conceptualizing vertical urban ecosystems, Maria is dedicated to architecture that is not just seen, but deeply felt.
She is building a future where design is sustainable, forms are fluid, and every structure tells a story.
OUR VISION
We envision a world where architecture no longer imposes itself upon the landscape, but engages in a fluid dance with it. At Bogat Architecture and Design, our vision is to dismantle the rigidity of the static grid and the conventional box, replacing them with environments that possess the uninhibited flow of nature and the resilience of the future. We believe that a building should behave less like a machine and more like a living organism—breathing, adapting, and sustaining the life within it through a symbiotic relationship with the elements.
Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that true luxury is the erasure of boundaries between the built and the unbuilt. We strive to sculpt spaces where light is a material, curves guide the human experience, and sustainability is not merely a checklist, but the very soul of the form. From the intimate details of a private residence to the structural complexity of conceptual vertical cities, our work is unified by a singular ambition: to redefine the skyline as a shared, regenerative ecosystem.
We are not just designing for the needs of today; we are architecting the heritage of tomorrow. We see a future where our cities rise vertically without losing their connection to the earth, where technology amplifies nature rather than obscuring it, and where every structure tells a story of harmony. At Bogat Architecture, we are dedicated to creating spaces that do not just stand, but evolve—designing for a world where structures are not merely built, but grown.
